The Allianz House fit-out, located at Level 7, 55 Currie St, came with a comprehensive list of challenges. As well as the tenancy fit-out, the scope included the requirement for a backup generator to be installed in a plant room on the other side of the building. This installation saw the generator craned to the rooftop plant room, 12 storeys up, then cables fed from one end of the building to the other. All of this was executed outside of normal working hours to prevent disruption to surrounding businesses.
Completed in 8 weeks, the new premise features acoustic insulation, double glazing, floating timber floors through all client areas, a high-end kitchen, custom signage and graphics throughout and a complex IT system to accommodate the needs of a modern commercial finance company.
