Cook Building were excited to continue our working relationship with Gawler Animal Hospital. This time with the construction of their new expansion to respond to increasing growth. The extension included a large meeting/training room, additional dog wards, a dedicated ultrasound suite, an exotic animal suite, extra storage and added carparking for clients and staff. The waiting area was also extended to now further separate the dedicated cat waiting area. An extra three consulting rooms were also built, and the pharmacy area expanded.

The clinic remained operational while it underwent the expansion and significant considerations were made to prevent interrupting the workflow of our Client. Being an animal hospital, the project team had to be cognisant of noise, dust and vibration, as well as minimisation of services downtime. The success of the project came down to communicating exactly what works were occurring and when, to allow the Client to make appropriate changes to their operations.
