This project involved the construction of two new buildings on the school site; Early Childhood Facility (ECF) and Innovation Resource Centre (IRC).

The ECF accommodates two new kindergarten rooms with associated kitchens, stores, and toilet facilities, including an external office and outdoor covered spaces. The IRC building comprises a resource centre with associated meeting and collaborative spaces. It also consists of a break out area, a deputy principal’s office, a zone for student support staff, an accessible toilet and a covered outdoor verandah space.

Cook Building worked closely with the design team to help define and resolve the project scope through providing buildability and cost advice to achieve the School budget.

Both buildings were completed in 5 months during school terms with the Site Supervisor carefully managing the requirements and schedules of the school and contractors during construction to ensure safety, security and minimal disruption to school operations.
